Our First Visit- Talenta Kasih Orphanage

We had our very first visit on the 28th of July 2012, to Panti Asuhan Talenta Kasih. As the journey began, all of us were excited as ever, to kick-start Sincere Hearts' program with the children from Talenta Kasih. We were greeted warmly by the caretakers and children who anticipated us by having a nicely set up living room. We started the visit by introducing ourselves to the children and vice versa. We also prepared a story telling by puppets, for which children listened intently and answered questions directed to them. Next, we played some games to entertain the children's Saturday morning. Some of them received crayons for prizes for game winners. Seeing the saddened faces, we couldn't help giving the crayons to everyone else :D We concluded the day by having a "foot bersama session" and distributed gift bags consisting of edible goodies and stationeries for school. We couldn't help smiling as we drove back home. Their smiling faces were all that we were looking for.
